One of the worst things to do for bone health is drinking soda/carbonated beverages. To expedite the healing process, you should: drink lots of water, get sunlight (at least on your face and hands) for around 15 minutes a day, eat and drink calcium rich foods (or if you don't like those foods, take a calcium supplement but ask your doctor how much you need; one can consume too much calcium) and don't eat a lot of junk food/eat healthy.

consuming too much sugar is the main thing- sugar not offers no nutrition for your body- it robs your body (specifically bones) of precious vitamins and minerals such as magnesium that helps your body to absorb calcium which your bones need for strength.
If you have a broken bone- lay off the sugar, lay of the soft drinks (which has been proven to weaken bones) take a calcium / magnesium supplement and eat lots of raw fruits and veggies
