Sounds really great! If I were to add something that would take it over the top, I might say something along the lines of this:

I will supervise your children, giving my full attention, as well as offer them opportunities to be creative & use their imaginations in activities such as: ________________ (like art, crafts, or whatever you are interested in.)

or you might say,
"I will offer them opportunities in physical fitness, we will take walks, go to the playground, play games, ______(whatever you propose to do)"

or "I will help your children discover adventure in their own back yard!"

I suggest you pick one topic each day, that will add to the kids knowledge base -- something you can do with them to find out more about..........______something they are interested in.

(meaning, you'll find something interesting to talk with them about everyday ----- such as ---- wednesday, we'll learn about the lily that grows in the garden ----- or thursday we'll talk about why stop signs are red & white. some sort of trivia.)

What you have sounds great though, and if you added just one of those suggestions, in my estimation would be the busiest sitter in town! Good Luck!

Ariel: It as already very good. You do not need to use big words to "sound professional". Clear, direct language is best when presenting qualifications. My suggestions are these: At the top, make a heading "Mature and Responsible 15 year old Seeks Babysitting Jobs in the ______ area. Flexible Schedule, Reasonable Prices" use a big font.

Then put your Name and Contact Information,

Then make a heading "Qualifications" and list those with the bullets as you have done, but make all the sentences agree in verb tense, leaving off the I haves, ams, etc. Instead of using "and", make separate short sentences.

Then put the a Heading "Additional Services" and list those. You can have one price for the basic babysitting service and charge extra for the add ons.

Good Luck!

You're going the wrong way--bigger words isn't necessarily more professional. Want to sell baby-sitting service? You need to be easy-to-reach and flexible and trustworthy.

So with that, I'd go this route:

Ariel--the best babysitter in town!
--3 years experience!
--loves kids!
--punctual, reliable, responsible, and trustworthy!
--Flexible, may be available on short notice
--Safe: trained in first aid, CPR, and babysitting training
--BONUS: Walk dogs and light housework included

Nice ad! It's succinct and to the point. Grammar seems relevant as well and frankly all you'd need to do is typeset it and hang in places like laundrymats (many busy moms come there to do laundry), grocery stores and other places. You could even canvass door-to-door handing out flyers.

Check with local churches for young couples who NEED a night away from the kids - many parents discuss this with one another.

Try day care facilities and explain you're available in the evenings for families who have busy professional parents that have long hours.

Get creative on where likely folks would be who could use your talents and skills. Then go after them!

I think you got it all there ..... I would definitely help.... but for 10 points its not worth it. Just go to the library and they will assist you ..... plus you will learn at the same time..... Knowledge is power.....
