Oh my, the stuff that comes out!! yesterday, at work, a lady was really teasing my about my organic sports bar. just being an absolute a$$. I answered her politely for a bit, then blurted out, it is really a flattened turd and it is the best turd I have ever eaten. And then I kinda "tongued" the sports bar for emphasis.
She of course was shocked and I said LOOK! You give me a hard time, and expect nothing??!!

All too often. I get insulted most when I'm nervous too b/c when I am nervous, my words get twisted and sometimes it offends- unintentionally of course. Or when people don't understand my sarcasm sometimes and can't tell if I may be serious.
I also insult them when they piss me off. Or threaten me. Or need to be insulted b/c they're just really stupid and ignorant.
And sometimes I do it just to make me feel better.

Not on purpose if I do... I think I would be more likely to insult myself while I was feeling nervous...in between some nervous laughter.

i say mean things when i'm nervous & yell when provoked.i don't know if the other person find it insulting,maybe if they were true .

I fidget when I'm nervous. I yell and insult when I'm bored.

Yeah I do! I insult myself. Nothing breaks the ice like a good ribbing, even if it is my own ribs.

no when i am nervous i get very sarcastic and catty so most people think that i am rude but its really a defense mechanism. my real good friends are the ones who understand it and still love me and those who don't can kiss my @ss!!

Yes, I do it without even realizing it. I certainly don't mean to do it, but, the older I get, the worse my mouth seems to run off.
