The prongs are torn and I cant plug my monitor in now, so i got another computer, can i transfer the video parts to this computer?

So, the video connector on the MOTHERBOARD is bad, Yes, you can install a video card in either the PCI, AGP or PCI-Express slot *IF* you have an open slot. You'll have to check your computer's specs to see which video card interface your computer uses....


First! Make SURE NONE of the motherboard pins are TOUCHING! If you have to cut them off. Else it will interfere\destroy the other video card.

Depending on your computer you MAY have to disable the motherboard video in BIOS. Though most boards will automaticly disable the motherboard's video if you install a video card.

Why not just replace the ac cord with a new one.
