i ve noticed poor people are mostly happier( not always but..). and they love life more than rich. i don`t know, i can name myself normal, not too rich. and my friends are always bored with life, because they have nothing to do.. parents pay for their study, and teens relax at the night clubs with alcohol and drugs. can only poor enjoy good food and nature for example?

You are correct. I grew up poor bur rich in love. My Mother and my sisters were my best friends. We enjoyed hanging out with each other and we had a lot of fun. We were seldom bored.

My mom was always telling us stories and hugging us. She called us beautiful all the time and we believed her.

We would daydream about what we will do if we became well to do. Well, we all now have everything we dreamed of and we are not as happy as before.

We missed those times but cannot go back - my Mom is deceased. So, yes I truly believe people are happier when they don't have much but each other. I will trade anything to relive those times when we were poor but content. Poverty can be an infinite bond for some families.

some poor people enjoy good food and nature because they dont have all the riches in the world and some are thankful for what they have which might just be old clothes and hand me downs. some rich ppl arent thankful for what they have because they dont know how life is without those things and tend to depend on their parents to buy all their wants and needs but then again Not all wealthy people are ungrateful and some who were once poor appreciate good food and nature and things of that sort.

I read an article recently on yahoo! news that said poor people are happier. Many rich people try to be happy by filling their lives with materialistic things, and they become unhappier as a result. A big TV is nice, but it can't give you a hug or a kiss can it? lol. I would like to be financially secure, meaning enough to pay for rent and bills and things like that, but I don't care if I become rich or not. Many rich people are poor; many poor people are rich.

I'm...."comfortable"..upper middle class...whatever. People consider me rich but, i beg to differ. You seem to be making the following correlation->-> with more money there's more resorces...and thus more time. I would agree, Except things are relative. Someone from "Old money", or someone raised in a rich family might do amazing things with their money but be accustomed to a certain lifestyle. Thererfore that rich person would have the same amount of fun as a poor person who is used to kicking rocks for fun. The grey zone happens when there is New money and New Poor.

well poor people have more joy in there life because even though they dont have everything as far as money fancy clothes and jewlry etc. they have their family and love and caring like they are always with there family, but some rich people are just so busy with there companies if they struck oil or something they are ust too busy for their kids and so some kids buy stuff to make themselves feel better but the pain of not having their family around keeps coming back.

I'd rather be comfortable. Money is scary. I've seen a lot of problems happen because someone ran into some cash. In the end money can become a catalyst for loneliness. I'm happy to be middle class. We have to work hard to maintain our life style, but we have food to eat,a roof over our head, and even luxuries, like this computer.

They say thet "It is better to be rich and healthy than poor and sick", just a laugh, but I think that people without a great deal of money live their lives more down to earth, and appreciates the simple things in life in a different way than rich people. It is of course not always the truth, but in general I think so.

This is because the Rich valuse things in different ways. The "poor" don't see them selves as poor but they valuse the small things. They can't give a big expensive car to show they care but they can baby sit or wht ever and it means more cause poor people know it takes more effort to offer time then money.

I grew up poor and i wouldn't change it for anything. Growing up poor taught me what is really important in life. That material things don't make you happy and that if I want something I have to work for it. I worked to buy myself all the things I wanted, because if I didn't no one else was going to buy it for me. I think that kids who have thier parents to help them financially should realize how lucky they are, and not take it for granted. (some don't take it for granted) Your friends may be bored with life and have nothing to do, because they already have all the material things they want.

Poor or rich, it has nothing to do with how you enjoy life. Life is what you make it !!!! And even who you are spending your time with. Good company can never be replaced.
