I've read some of Frank Peretti's stuff. I read *The Oath* a couple times - the first because it was hard to put down, and the second because I was trying to figure out if I agreed with the theology presented in the book. It'd definitely a thriller that's worth reading if you like being thrilled. I don't think I agree with all the theology presented, but it probably wasn't written with purpose of being completely theologically sound.

*The Visitation* was interesting because it was written from the point of view of a pastor. You don't see that in fiction very often.

*The Prophet* is about abortion and a news reporter. Out of all of these, I think I recommend *The Prophet* the most. It's less sensationalist and seems more focused on spiritual warfare. There are two earlier Perreti books - *This Present Darkness* and something else - that I haven't read, but I know those are also about spiritual warfare.

I enjoy Frank Peretti's books. My favorite would have to be The Visitation. It was great. I like all of his books though, and definitely recommend his works. I've never read any Ted Dekker books, though. So I'm silent on him!

My sister has read Peretti books: The Oath & The Visitation.

And I have read Dekker's Showdown, awesome book. I'm reading Three now.

And we both have seen Peretti's movies Hangman's Curse & The Visitation.
