It is just how our culture pressures people. Blame the media. Guys are supposed to be macho, but it is ok for girls to be macho if they want to be. Just do what you want. If people can't like you for who you are them you don't need to have anything to do with them. Do what makes you happy. If strangers don't like you what does it matter, you will never see them again anyway. Go for it!

Because society puts a lot more rigid standards on masculinity than it does femininity, especially since the feminist movement. That, and pretty much anything suggesting lesbianism is trendy now. (Angelina Jolie, for example) Which is why men think it's so cool for women to kiss each other but no one really wants to see two guys kiss! It's not PC to tell a woman she can't do anything a man does any more, but if men adopt typically feminine behaviors/dress, etc. their sexuality is questioned. I know some guys (granted, they are gay) who wear women's jeans and look great in them. If you do wear clothing that is obviously feminine, you will probably be ridiculed and called gay, unless it's a kilt, in which case you'll probably just get some stares.

Because of our lovely society. There is so much worry about people being racists but how about those against men wanting to wear women's clothes. If a person feels they want to be the opposite sex then so be it. The operation should be made more affordable also.

Actually, it is becoming acceptable for men to wear female clothing. Especially with the emerging "scene" movement, in which tight jeans from the Junior's department are practically required.

Society perceives Men who wear women's clothing as Sissy's/*****'s. Normally men who are scared because for some unknown reason regard it as a threat to there own manhood. There are a lot of scared men out there. Its still one of the groups who are discriminated against by society. Even if it doesn't admit it. I say good luck to the guys who want to wear dresses. It has been scientifically proven that gender is not the same as sexuality. If these guys feel they want to dress as women then WHO ARE WE to stop them?

because women always want to have a part of men with them , cause ithink men are more fixed and women are more flexible so they try to mime mens works like wearing theyr clothes, and may be mens clothes are so normal that both men and women can use that , but women's clothes are s specialy designed for them that i think just a gay man or something like that would wear their clothes , so let's do not experience that .

let me tell you something , if more men werent so uptight, they would trry it. i am a straight male but i love wearing them. Skirts are alot mire comfortable then pants and if you wear a nylon body stocking under that, you will get a lot of airflow and stay cooler.i say all men should at least try it one time. it,s worth it .Some women even enjoy a man in women cloths. Try it you wont regret it.

I have always never gotten a comment except once in London tee hee....this pretty teenage girl with a fabulous British accent asked me "are you sure these will fit you, sir?"....smart girl!

Society is more accepting of a "tomboy" and a alot less accepting of the feminine man. I think there's adouble standard. People don't tolerate a unmanly man. I don't mind it at all, unless whatever the guy/girl is wearing doesn't look good on them.
