World War 3?

If this really is World War III then shouldn't americans unite and realize who the enemy is? The enemy is the islamic facist who will stop at nothing to see death and destruction to infidels (in this care jewish ones). Do you really think palestinians ( a fake race) want their land back? They had a deal that would give them their land but they refused. It is clear that all of these islamic radicals want death and destruction to the jews.

Americans should unite. However, you will always have a faction of Chamberlain followers that believe holding hands and chanting will make your enemy love you. It won't, they may smile, but only as they pull a machete through your neck.

The media has said this several times about several events in recent history... ie 9/11, invading Afghanistan, invading Iraq and now Lebanon and Israel issue... They just want a headline maker and saying WORLD WAR 3 Gets attention. But in reality no country or countries together are stupid enough to officially declare war on USA and/or Israel because they'll just be annihilated. All they can do is this cowardly terrorist attacks.

This is not World War 3. It's a small regional conflict. The USA is stretched, so Syria and Iran are testing to see what they can get away with.

The religious aspect is just an excuse. Many nations simply want power; they use whatever motiviation works best with their population. In some cases it's "in the name of God", in other cases it's "for the glory of the Fatherland", and others wage war, "to spread the ideals of freedom".

As long as human beings continue to divide the world into "Them" vs. "Us" on whatever basis (religious, racial, ideological, etc.) wars will continue.

World War 3 is not the proper solution to the Middle East crisis. Israel should just finsh off the Hezbollah guerillas and after that it should stop so that violence will stop in the Middle East.
