Who thinks slow pitch softball is better that Fastpitch?

Fastpitch takes WAY more effort! And don't even get me started on pitching!

Well, fastpitch is a lot harder and more challenging. If you're just in it for fun, then go with slowpitch, but if you want a little competition, play fastpitch. I have played both and can honestly say I didn't realize how easy I had it in slowpitch until I started playing fastpitch. Then I went back to slowpitch (while still playing fastpitch) and I was awesome!

Fast pitch is WAY better. You actually have to have talent to pitch fast-pitch, and you definately need talent to hit fast-pitch. Watch a fast-pitch game sometime. One can tell most, if not all players out there are actually excellent athletes. Then watch a local rec league slow-pitch game. Half of the people out there weigh 400 lbs!!!!!!

I like fastpitch a lot better because with slowpitch you have to put a lot more power behind your swing.

I have coached slow pitch both women (more coach-able) and men. The games are more exciting because of more offense (good for the casual fan) and defense also, if ball is hit (very few strikeouts) more chances to catch it. Players that could not hit the ball (when they played ball coming up) get a second chance.

Well ive played both ways, and slow pitch is better. I dunno why, but its more fun. But, to watch, I like fastpitch. It's more entertaining.
