It was sad to see a legend bowing out of football after a long spell.Bergkamp was probably one of the best strikers not only in Netherlands but in the World. I am not a fan of Arsenal but I admired him as a player. He brought quality and class to Arsenal. I am sure Arsenal will miss him greatly.

What a great career he has had and what a loyal and popular signing for Arsenal. You are right when mentioning the words quality and class when talking of him. Cool under pressure, fair and a great sportsman. The Testimonial was all fans expected and more. How great to see all the "old guys" return in support and respect for Bergkamp. Just like the games we used to love to watch without any of the drama that comes along with the game today. You gotta miss guys like him and I am sure while Arsenal have players to begin a new era, he will be sadly missed.

I watched the game.....it was a reminder of the good things in football ....after the world cup shenanigans....the iceman will be missed.
