The Braves probably won't make it to the world series. Maybe the White Sox.

dude theres no way you said it'll be mets tigers
the braves aren't making the playoffs without the wild card and the astros own the wild card because they're stuck in a division with the cardinals. the teams in the playoffs will be the mets, cardinals, astros, and padres from the nl. and the red sox, the white sox, the tigers, and the athletics or rangers.
as a red sox fan i gotta say that they're gonna win but as a baseball fan i gotta agree with myself there. i think the tigers are too inexperianced even though they came off of a great series against the white sox that really said something. heres a stat saying why the tigers, dispite the best record in the MLB, will not make the fall classic. remember the 2001 mariners, led by al rookie of the year and al mvp ichiro? they had the best record in the majors by a long shot, over 120 games won (i think). they lost in the first round to the eventual al champs, the yankees, in 5 games. history doesnt look good for detroit
the nl representitive is no question. the mets will run away with the nl and no one will challenge them until they met boston in the w.s. after a 5 game redemtion series for the 1986 w.s, the sox will again raise the trophy and they will be the best team in baseball again, like it should be

From the AL, the only teams with enough talent to make a difference in the playoffs are:
Boston Red Sox
New York Yankees
Detroit Tigers
Chicago White Sox
From the NL:
New York Mets
St. Loius Cardenals
It is likely that the WS will be between the Boston "great defense" Red Sox and the New York "superstar" Mets
My pick is the Boston Red Sox

It's not gonna be the Braves....Mets have a better chance since they're running away with the east, they're also a good team with a nice balance of young players and veterans not to mention a damn good manager. Hopefully it will be White Sox and not Red! White Sox have really good pitching and Red Sox pitching is mediocre.

Well, you can scratch off the Atlanta Braves, they have the worst chance of the teams that you mention. I am a New Yorker (YANKEES FAN), but admit that the Mets have a very good chance to make it to the World Series while the Yankees have a much tougher road to travel.
Honestly, unless something crazy happens, I think that the Detroit Tigers will face the New York Mets.

I think that it is going to be a repeat of the 1986 World Series. Mets nad Red Sox. Mets taking it all.

Well, I've been saying since Spring Training, it'll be the Mets and Tigers and that the Mets will win in 7. So, we'll see.

Neither.
The New York Mets are the better team, but the AL has 4 teams better than anything the NL has to offer.
