Oh yeah futbol is SO beautiful. Hey someone breathed on me let me fall down like I am dead. Also the net is so HUGE how can a goalie even try to guard the whole thing. Come on then you have the field size. Hockey is a better sport and you need to see the NHL to see why. They aren't a bunch of toothless fools anymore. Don't know about them European leagues.
Oh and at least if a guy takes a dive in hockey and the refs can tell that's what it was then there is a penalty. Come on how can you not tell that is what those soccer players are doing. Hockey players can be "tripped" but if they are caught clearly faking it then they are called on it. Maybe that would eliminate teh acting in soccer.

You would feel differently if you had been born and raised in the State of Hockey, Minnesota. No state is so passionate about the game. When I was in school if the HS team made it to state school was canceled during the state tourney. The Minnesota state tournament sells out an NHL arena, that's right, 18,000+ for the AA tournament and statewide TV. Some regular season games draw 8,000 fans. Plus there are so many lakes and out door rinks to use in the winter. Minnesota is hockey and if you lived there you would have your eyes opened to the beauty of this game.

Hockey is a thinking mans game, you have to have a clue to get it. In some regards, although it is much better, it is similar to football, and by that i mean soccer. It is misunderstood by those who are unwilling to take the time watch the beauty of it. yeah I said it, it is a beautiful sport to watch when you understand the difficulty and strategy of the sport. My favorite saying is that hockey is the only true sport the rest are just games.

Well, really all sports is just to find that adrenalin rush we miss from having such easy lives....

Hockey is magic, to me watching the strengh and speed of the players tear up the ice is poetry. I love the sport and have for many years, the point of anything is finding what you love. If you don't see a point to hockey maybe you haven't been educated by a loving fan, or maybe it's just not for you. But don't throw ants on my picnic, hockey is a huge chunk of my life!

Its easy for someone to say hockey is stupid. As it is also easy to say that music is stupid when you dont like a certain type of music. Try to play the game, you will soon find out how difficult it is to carry a puck up ice without getting creamed, much less shooting on goal. So if your to lazy to try it and to lazy to try to understand it, do this,... put on your cuntry n westurn music and go watch a NASCAR race, you can usually find your favorite driver on the next lap
