Buy a moistureizer to put on your face that has an SPF and is UV protected. Also this will help you from getting dark spots and skin damage. Freckles are trickier because alot of times its hereditary. I dont have freckleson my face but when i am in the sun alot i do get a few on my shoulders and back. so there's not much you can do about that

Hi, I just started using a Sunscreen from Arbonne called Before Sun. It is SPF 30 and blocks both UVA UVB rays. I am very sensitive to sun because of some medication I take and this is the first sunblock that has totally protected me. I was able to be out in the sun and could wear short sleeves. They also have a lotion to put on after your day outside. It has their anti-aging properties in them from their RE9 line. You can check the Sunscreen out at www.wonderful.myarbonne.com It really is a great product.

Make sure your sunscreen is UVA and UVB protectant. Use a SPF of 30 or higher. Make sure you have on sunscreen if you will be in the sun for more than 30 minutes.

Where a hat/visor as well as sunscreen, and there are very light clothing that can allow you to wear a long sleeve or long pant in the sun without burning up. Very breathable material.

beside sunscreen,
*wear an eye cream that has SPF
*wear a hat
*reapply sunscreen every 2 hours
*wear sunscreen 15 - 30 minutes before you expose to the sun
*use an SPF lip balm

The other responses are great but remember to take care of your skin after your out of the sun as well. Remember to use bath oils and lotion afterward and use a good moisterizer on your face.

sunscreen with high SPF is the solution, but since you play tennis (and sweat) you'll have to reapply it now and then (but make sure you wipe sweat off your face (try de-make up wipes and then apply again the sunscreen)
