I was licking an envelope about a week ago and the edge of it caught me in the corner of my mouth. Everytime I go to eat or put anything in my mouth the wound reopens. Is there anything that you can put on it to make it heal faster? I can't stop eating! LOL Because it's in the crease of my mouth it's not like I can put Neosporn or stuff like that on it. This has never happened and it's starting to get worst. Any help would be appreciated!

When ever I get hurt in the corner of my mouth like that it takes awhile to heal. Opening the mouth to eat or drink can cause it to open a little and that's why it takes awhile to heal. If it is getting worse it might be infected, that part of the body can get infected easily. Since it has taken longer then a week to heal I would suggest you call your doctor on the phone and maybe just discuss the problem. If the doctor feels like it is something that requires you to come in they will let you know.

Are you diabetic? I know they have a hard time healing.

Also paper cuts can be REALLY deep, deeper than a knife-cut for example, and deeper wounds take longer to heal.

Make sure you don't get any food particles in the wound, that will make it an ideal place for bacteria to infest and the last thing you want is a nasty, pus-filled infection on your face :-O

Try to eat foods that don't require a lot of chewing , soups and soft food like rice and small pastas . . .
And chew on gum or anything, or eat huge chicken legs and pizza , lol

Just wait for it to heal.
