I´m working as receptionist in hotels since 17 years. I didn´t study for that. I was working with my father delivering beer, and somebody asked me if I would like to work at hotels. He knew I speak some languages and that´s why he told me. I began to work there with great illusion to begin a new career. But I move to another hotel for the money and the things began to change. It was agreater hotel, and the people here try to put you down. My illusions began to dicrease until today. In my private life, in all this time,I have married and have a son and I have study. I´m ready to do something in other areas (music, journalism...).
I find I´m very versatile, but I´ve learned this is not my job. It could be a stupid question what I´m asking, but can somebody tell me What can I do to change this situation?
I´ll thank you very much indeed if you could give me other perspectives to see. Thank you anyway.

simple, you stay because it's safe.
you could try taking a risk.. try another profession, go to night school, or just wing it, 17 years is a lot of experience. no change is easy.. i am back in school 20 years after leaving it. but it will be worth it. ask yourself what you really want from life.. and FLY girl..

First of all, if you can demonstrate enough good personality, get a husband. If you do not know how to show you want to be wanted you had better learn, even if you have to take a course in acting. Secondly, go to night school and upgrade your knowledge range. It will make you more versatile in job-seeking and broaden the range of people who want to be with you. Social studies and history and the like are best for improving conversation skills. You might go to the closest university and ask to take an aptitude and interest test. This might help you hone your goals.
