That's a strange theme for a wedding (so's Rocky Horror, but I'm not the one getting married).
I really like the movie, though. But it's more of a metaphor of angsty teenage step children getting used to dad's new wife and the new half-sibling in the house. (My preteen stepson LOVED that movie when my kid, his half sister, was born. Now he thinks Bowie is "gay"). It's not like the goblin king actually MARRIED the girl, is it? Not exactly the kind of vibe you want at a wedding, is it???
Why not have a "Mirrormask" themed wedding? (If you haven't seen it yet, RUN to the video store and rent it!!!!)

i suppose it is a good song for a wedding but it is a bit far fetched. but if it has meaning to you and your partner then go for it. i love the labyrinth best film plus david bowie looks good in it. hope you have a good wedding and the best of luck to you. x

Are all the men going to be wearing tights 3 sizes too small for them where you can see every bulge of their crotch just like David Bowie in that movie?
Every scene, David Bowie and his bulging crotch. Here is Bowie singing with a huge bulging crotch. Here he is again acting sinister, with his big bulging crotch.
How could you have missed this?

my fiance and I met when we were extras in a movie, our wedding will have a "Hollywood Premier" theme, and the movie will be playing in the background at the reception. Why the Labyrinth?

My daughters would love it.
My first thought was do it, who cares what others think, but I read your additional details and see you made the right choice.
Just don't invite august0893. She would screw the best man anyhow.
