i don't mean to get an anwser, i mean why do people ask questions? i hope you understand.

i understand people are curious about thins and are knowledge seekers, but none of you seem to understand the question.

From childhood we are constantly questioning our world... it's human nature to enquire. We can't understand unless we make enquiries into other people's minds, attitudes and preferences.

And we need to know if they translate the things we see and hear, the way we do.

You repeat the question in 'Details' but you don't want an answer.

Therefore this must be a rhetorical question ( that doesn't require an answer).

As you are a teacher you will understand this. If you do not understand then perhaps you are in the wrong job.

You must know of the Socratic method of teaching. Herein lies the answer.

You will really have to explain yourself better. Your students must find you very confusing.

However, I am waiting for your explanation.

If you don't ask questions you must be a very knowledgeable person that knows everything., except the answer to the question you have just asked. And not everyone as all the answers.

asking questions is the quickest way to find an answer and its likely to be indepth and explained in a way thats easy to understand but in a summarised form.

people want knowledge and to satisfy curiosity. Asking questions is a way of doing this and its generally a quick and easy way

in life its also a conversation piece

Nope, I don't understand. You asked the same question twice, but you don't want the logical answer.
Whenever I ask a question, it's to get an answer. I don't know of anyone else who askes questions for any other reason.

People are naturally curious, and it's great fun to chat with people from other countries and cultures. And, you might just learn something new, or a different way of looking at things. Your question proves my point, you are curious.
