I have found all through most of my life that my life usually runs parallel to my taste in songs and their lyrics. WHat lyrics are your favorite right now. Share them if you like. These are mine 10,000.00 Oceans By Tori Amos. Because I can relate to both the song, its reasons for being written and even the video is all me right now...

These tears I've cried
I've cried 1000 oceans
And if it seems
I'm floating in the darkness
Well, I can't believe that I would keep
Keep you from flying
And I would cry 1000 more
If that's what it takes
To sail you home
Sail you home
Sail you home

I'm aware what the rules are
But you know that I will run
You know that I will follow you
Over silbury hill
Through the solar field
You know that I will follow you

And if I find you
Will you still remeber
Playing at trains
Or does this litte blue ball
Just fade away
Over silbury hill
Through the solar field
You know that I will follow you
I'm aware what the rules are
But you know that I will run
You know that I will follow you

These tears I've cried
I've cried 1000 oceans
And if it seems
I'm floating in the darkness
Well I can't believe that I would keep
Keep you from flying
So I will cry 1000 more
If that's what it takes
To sail you home
Sail you home

Probably "The Idiots Are Taking Over" by NOFX:

"It's not the right time to be sober,
now the idiots have taken over,
spreading like a social cancer,
is there an answer?

Mensa membership exceeding,
tell me why and how are all the stupid people breeding?
Watson, it's really elementary,
the industrial revolution,
has flipped the ***** on evolution!
The benevolent and wise,
are being cornered, ostracized.
What a bummer,
the world keeps getting dumber!
Insensitivity is standard,
and faith is being fancied over reason.

Darwin's rollin' over in his coffin,
the fittest are surviving much less often.
Now everything seems to be reversing,
and it's worsening.
Someone flopped a steamer in the gene pool,
now angry mob mentality's no longer the exception, it's the rule,
and im startin to feel a lot like Charlton Heston,
stranded on a primate planet.
Apes and orangutans that ran it to the ground,
with generals and the armies that obeyed them.
Followers following fables,
philosophies that enable,
them to rule without regard.

There's no point for democracy when ignorance is celebrated.
Political scientists get the same one vote as some monkey that's inbred.
Majority rule, don't work in mental institutions.
Sometimes the smallest, softest voice carries the grand, biggest solutions.

What are we left with?
A nation of god-fearing, pregnant nationalists,
who feel it's their duty to populate the homeland,
pass on traditions,
and how-to-get-ahead religions,
And prosperity be a symbol of culture.

The idiots are takin over..."

And "How they Getcha'" by The Vandals:

"Deception! They lie and propaganda-ize.
They prey on weakness from the seekers of a better f_cking life and bleed them dry.
Promise and faith to f_cking hook the bait,
'till they got you where they want you,
and pull your strings and taunt you every time.
I call it shenanigans, it's Un-American lies, lies, lies.
Someone should do something, a day of reckoning.
It's a lie. That's how they get you!

They said they knew my fate and I'd be great and fine,
and rich in time, stay on the line. I'm gifted and one of a kind.

Bullshit! I'm scammed, bamboozled, swindled, hoodwinked,
from a false and phony psychic who has robbed me and dishonored me with a crime.

I want my money back,
from that clairvoyant hack.
I've seen the future and it's my foot in your a$$.
It's a lie. That's how they get you.
It's a lie. That's how they get you."

As for why I like these songs? Because they speak the truth...

I Liked You Better Before You Were Naked On the Internet- From First to Last i no haw the name sounds but it means alot to me it sounds like if i took the time the kinda song id write
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's amazing what you'll find when you just open your eyes
Sometimes love can leave you blind
But still you try to cover all the lies
And ignore all the signs
Sometimes love can leave you blind

What I thought was a certainty
Has left me
Spinning in circles again

Comparing to the last time that we had spoke
It seems to me that you're not happy
Like you used to be

To you I'm like a flavor that wouldn't last
You took one bite and spat me out real fast

And now this mark remains and will never ever go away

Ooooh freaky... just been talking to my mum about music and she told me I used to fall asleep to 'Massachusets' by the Bee Gees when I was a few months old.... so I just listened to it and feel all warm and snuggly. I guess that's my favourite at the moment.... well for the next hour maybe hehehe!

Im really not into Ashlee Simpsons music but I really like one song by her. Its called Invisible and its a new one. It goes like

You're the one who looked right through me
Now you're saying that you knew me
When I was invisible
And you're the one who walked right through me
Now you're saying that you knew me
When I was invisible

Let Go by Frou Frou. The lyrics just like... relax me. It just about not caring about what other people think, and they kinda get pumped. I don't know how to explain it.

this song called "Tim McGraw" by Taylor Swift..
cause i can really relate to it,, I know it seems like it is going to be a song about she loves Tim McGraw & he was a little boy his dad was a baseball player and now he's a superstar and married to Faith Hill. It's nothing like that. It's about this couple falling in love because of a Tim McGraw song.& how they will always think of each other when they hear one. aint that sweet??...lol!!! She wrote this song herself. When she comes out you all will love her. She is only 16 years old!
its a country song..go to http://www.myspace.com/taylorswift ..... to hear it!

He said the way my blue eyes shine
Put those Georgia stars to shame that night
I said , Thats a lie
Just a boy in a Chevy truck that had a tendency of getting stuck
On back roads at night and I was right there beside him
All summer long and then the time we woke up to find that summer gone.

When you think Tim McGraw , I hope you think my favorite song
The one we danced to all night long
The moon like a spotlight on the lake
When you think happiness, I hope you think that little black dress
Think my head on your chest and my old faded blue jeans,
When you think Tim McGraw I hope you think of me.

September saw a month of tears and thanking God
That you werent here, to see me like that
But in a box beneath my bed is a letter that you never read
From three summers back
Its hard not to find it all a little bittersweet
And looking back on all of that
Its nice to believe

When you think Tim McGraw , I hope you think my favorite song
The one we danced to all night long
The moon like a spotlight on the lake
When you think happiness, I hope you think that little black dress
Think my head on your chest and my old faded blue jeans,
When you think Tim McGraw I hope you think of me.

And Im back for the very first time since then
Im standing on your street,
Theres a letter left on your door step
And the first thing youll read is

When you think Tim McGraw , I hope you think my favorite song
Someday youll turn your radio on
I hope it takes you back to that place
When you think happiness, I hope you think that little black dress
Think my head on your chest and my old faded blue jeans,
When you think Tim McGraw I hope you think of me.
Think of me.

He said the way my blue eyes shine
Put those Georgia stars to shame that night
I said, Thats a lie.
