WHY ARE ALL THE QUESTIONS IN WOMAN'S HEALTH ABOUT LITTLE GIRLS THAT DON'T WANT TO WAIT TO GROW UP? THEY GO WAY TO MUCH INTO DETAIL AND ARE ASKING THINGS THEY DON'T NEED TO KNOW YET. IS THE REASON THAT THEY ASK ONLINE BECAUSE THEY KNOW THIER PARENTS WOULD FLIP OUT IF THEY KNEW WHAT THIER LITTLE ANGELS WERE UP TO AND THINKING? LITTLE GIRLS TALKING ABOUT MASTURBATION AND SEX, IF THEY DO WHAT THEY DO COULD THEY GET PREGNANT? IS IT RIGHT FOR THEM TO ASK THIS STUFF? HOW MANY PEOPLE ONLINE AREN'T PERVERTS? FROM MY EXPERIENCE I WOULD SAY MOST OF THEM ARE.

I UNDERSTAND THAT THEY NEED TO KNOW THESE THINGS AND I KNOW THIS IS YAHOO ANSWERS AND IT IS MEANT TO GET PEOPLE THE ANSWERS THEY ARE LOOKING FOR. MY POINT IS MOST OF THEM SAY ITS FOR FEMALES TO ANSWER BUT IT DOESNT EXCLUDE MEN FROM READING AND ANSWERING,DOES IT? AND I'M SAYING THEY SHOULD TRY TO GO TO SOMEONE THEY KNOW OR EVEN A CLINICS WEBSITE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT WHERE THE ANSWERS WILL ALWAYS BE FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS THIER BEST INTEREST AT HEART AND NOT TRYING TO GET 2 EASY POINTS!

This is a great question, but I don't have an aswer. I find myself constantly saying "if you have to ask, you probably aren't ready" or "sorry he humped you and dumped you"... Where are these mothers?

1. All kids can't wait to grow up.
1a. I'd rather know something before I needed to know it. Wouldn't you?
2. They ask online because, yes, they are afraid of parents' reactions to being asked, or just plain embarrassed to ask the parents.
3. Most questions get a few reasoned responses, including discussion of condoms, and/or an attempt to dissuade the asker from trying out sex until a bit older. Not necessarily a bad thing.
4. If they don't ask, they won't find out. Sad but true.
5. I have no idea how many people online aren't perverts.

My MRPGF (most recent previous girlfriend) says that in the Catholic community, a girl should ask her godmother questions that she'd be afraid to ask her parents. I'm guessing that there are a lot of girls who don't have a close relationship with a godmother.

You are right.... a lot of people online are perverts, but lets hope a lot of people answering important questions for these kids aren't. There are a lot of good sites with unbias and free information for them to go to. I don't think it is wrong for young girls to ask questions. They are still going to think of this stuff anyhow...should they just pretend they aren't wondering about these things so their parentes don't flip out?? If they don't ask questions and go and do this stuff anyway they can still get pregnant. I didn't know masturbation had an age limit?? Most kids experience curiosity in their own sexuality before 13 years of age. As for the questions about sex....maybe they don't feel comfortable asking their parents...yes that is what online forums are for. I just think it is better that they be informed no matter what decision they choose. It is sad how fast kids grow up these days...I was never thinking some of the things that young girls think now at such a young age. But it is reality and we have to deal with it somehow.

Spend less time worrying about what other people do, and you will be a much happier person.

Just because you are uncomfortable with the idea of another person engaging in some sort of activity does not make that activity wrong, or bad, or harmful.

People come here to ask questions because they need information to do the things that they are interested in – information that is not available to them at home because of fearful, overprotectionest, judgmental peers and parents.

People need information – not judgment. If you cannot provide the former, at least manage to not provide the latter.

isnt it beta 4 kids 2 no this stuff, that way perhaps we can educate them so they dont end up pregnant or with a STI!! i personaly dont think it is right for such young kids to be having sex and doing sexual stuff but its best they know about it now before its too late. That way they can make up thier own mind and not get pressured into any thing that they dont fully understand. kids have always been inquistitive so why not just let them know what they need but just not encourage it. It could help them too grow up to be a better person.

I think you're half right... this is called Yahoo! Answers. That's what its here for..
I think its wrong when they say.. I'm this many years old.. can you help me figure out how to play with my cooch until i orgasm. Their parents should be watching them.. so online predators don't get to them first.
It is kinda better for them to ASK also.. then try to figure it out them selves.. i was always taught to ask someone....

But, there are alot of OLDER women 19-20 + who still don't know many of those things.. like masturbation.. so you cant always judge the question asked...

But for the most part.. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU.
