There's Motrin, Pamprin, or any kind of pain killer. Or you can apply hot pressure to your abdomen like a hot rag or heating pad. It also helps to try to walk around.

I have the same problem...every month,i'm in bedrest for at least 2 days out of my mestrual days because the cramps are unbearabe. Here's what works for me.....take Midol Mestrual....don't eat or drink cold drinks....find a wine glass bottle, heat up some water and put the VERY hot water into the bottle. Close the cap tightly so you don't burn yourself and make sure it doesn't leak, and press that bottle on your stomach or on your side, whereever you cramps are (not direct contact to ur skin though, above your shirt..its hot) and keep it there until the water cools...it usually last about an 2 hours....I know it may sound weird to you but that really helps me because i've leaned that i need to feel a different kind of pain and the heat of the bottle is way better than feeling the cramps. Just a suggestion,it works for me great. if you try it, MAKE SURE THE BOTTLE DOESN'T LEAK...the water will burn you! if not try the heating pad for mestrual at your local drug store! I've used those before...but the heat doesn't last that long and its not as hot as i want it to be.

Home Treatment

Try the following home treatment to help relieve your menstrual cramps.

Use heat, such as hot water bottles, heating pads, or hot baths, to relax tense muscles and relieve cramping. Be careful not to burn yourself.
Herbal teas, such as chamomile, mint, raspberry, and blackberry, may help soothe tense muscles and anxious moods.
Exercise. Regular workouts decrease the severity of cramps. For more information, see the topic Fitness.
Empty your bladder as soon as you have the urge to urinate.
Try a nonprescription medication to help relieve your menstrual cramps.

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen or naproxen slow the production of prostaglandins and generally help ease cramps better than aspirin or acetaminophen.
Start taking the medication the day before your period starts or at the first sign of pain, and continue taking it on a regular schedule for the number of days that your cramps usually bother you.
Be sure to take NSAIDs with milk or food, as these medications can upset your stomach.

Be sure to follow these nonprescription medication precautions.

Carefully read and follow all label directions on the medication bottle and box.
Use, but do not exceed, the maximum recommended doses.
Do not take a medication if you have had an allergic reaction to it in the past.
If you have been told to avoid a medication, call your health professional before taking it.
If you are or could be pregnant, call your health professional before using any medication.
Do not give aspirin to anyone younger than age 20 unless directed to do so by your health professional.

Get Well!

Before you expect your period exercises. That will relieve cramps. You can either take a pain killer and a heating pad or you can take a nice warm bath. anything will help with cramps. Good luck!

A good pain reliever like ibuprofin or midol will help. A heat pad can sometimes ease the pain and make the cramps less intense.

Over the counter Pain Killers work but I do this when I want fast relief.

A Teaspoon of Vinegar will stop it in a few minutes.
A teacher I had a told us about this, and it works for me.
Even when the cramps are at their worse.

Masturbate to orgasm.

It ma sound distasteful or dirty – but it works every time.

The rhythmic contractions of the orgasm break up the cramps and they go away almost immediately afterwards. The pain will be gone almost completely, if not completely.

And who couldn’t use an orgasm?
