yes.

I presume that you are making mix gas for a 2 cycle. Often a little oil is left in the bottle and works fine if it is mix, but carbons up a 4 stroke. This is a common way to store lawnmower or trimmer gas for home use.

Accidentally putting gas in your car oil is a very bad idea though so mark it carefully.

Transport of gas on public highways must be in approved gas containers, there are restrictions on alternate containers.

You can store in anything you like, if you are ready to leave the planet.

You sure as hell wouldn't be permitted to fill it at a gas station.

yes, but depending on where you live it may actually be ilegal(USA) and after awhile the gas will eat through it
