jason kidd has always dominated and embarassed marbury his whole career....jkidd's teams have more wins...he has more awards more respect from his peers...marbury has probably the most tainted reputation in the nba ryt now....but if you put yourself in a position to analyze the current situation...jkidd had microfracture surgery...he has lost a step or two...his numbers are slowly declining consistently every yr...his new jersey team has been stuck in quasi mediocrity for the past yrs....and then you look at marbury : he's 29 yrs old...in the peak of his health...has something to prove...has a coach in thomas who will turn him loose this season...has ample talent to back him up with the knicks...what if....just what if everything falls into place for marbury...his team cud possibly win 39 games and go to the playoffs and he averages 24 ppg and 9 assist..there's a strong possibility that would happen.it's not hard to bliv he's working out everyday in a gym ryt now to prove to everyone he has what it takes to be an elite pg in the nba.. . jkidd has the better career so far...but in terms of next season im betting marbury will have the edge in this one...

Jason Kidd for sure he is better played and more defense play Stephon Marbury is good but not the best when you put him head-to-head with Dwyane Wade is not as good but i would put him as Ben Gordon and Kirk Hinrich but he is with a bad team that good of a player shouldn't be with the knicks he should move on.

Jason Kidd because he's a basketball player

Personally, I think people are being just a tad mean to Marbury. I don't really know what was ever all that spectacular about him though. A couple ankle breakers? His name has pretty well dropped off the radar

If he were really that good, they would have no need for Steve Francis. And you gotta be pretty desperate to have Steve Francis...

Jason Kidd makes his team mates better. All Marbury does is collect a salary. Jason gives his teammates the ball. Marbury gives his team mates the blues.

I'm a Suns fan and I, once, loved both. J. Kidd is better in every aspect of the game except defence.

J. Kidd
better leader, better ball handler, more rebounds, and more creative, pass first point guard, makes teammates better.

Marbury
Great defense, better scorer, mentally ill, arrognat, doesn't make teammates better. could be a cancer for the team, overpaid.

Stever Nash!! better than both...J. Kidd might be better though.

Jason Kidd is better because he is a leader a team player, and can have some clutch baskets

talent wise is probably j kidd. no other point guard in the league averages more triple doubles than him. he's a consistent and solid point guard. but even though i dont like starbury too much, he still has a sick crossover.
