Turkmenistan is a small country in central Asia that was once part of the Soviet Union. It is located just north of Iran and west of Afghanistan.

Yes, in Central Asia. Shares borders with Kazakhstan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan. Has a coastline with Caspian Sea.
