There are many ways without having to bother with cheesy exorcists or worse - Priests - from simply asking them what it is they want OR making some blessed water (a.k.a. Holy Water).
There is LOTS of folklore from around the world on this very subject. You can try using ringing lots of bells and firecrackers (Chinese) to walking thru your home saying the Lord's Prayer. Just google the subject and you'll find a LOT of resources on this subject.

A friend of mine felt she had ghosts in her room and had a feeling of not being able to breath when sleeping and having horrible nightmares. She saw a psychic and the psychic to her to put a glass of water under her bed for three nights and it was supposed to cleanse the room. The next morning she woke up and the water was almost black, but got progressively lighter for the 3 days. Maybe that would help?

Has the house been blessed by a priest? Perhaps inviting a clergyman to dinner for a blessing might be a good idea to start.

get a priest or a "holy man" and get holy water and bless your house. what also may help is to put out a bible and print out bible scriptures. then tell the spirit to go to the light. some get lost on their way or simply dont know about it. tell the spirit it wil go.
