I like a lot of older stuff, i'm TOTALLY a rock 'n' roll chick. I listen to The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots,The Red Hot Chili Peppers,Soundgarden, The Killers, Garbage, and that kinda stuff...i listen to a lot of things from when i was either really little or not born, stuff from nowadays doesn't quite get it for me (The Pussy Cat Dolls are no where NEAR the talent or awesomeness of Guns and Roses! They're not dressing/singing/acting like a band of prostitutes!) System of a Down, Tool and Godsmack are pretty cool also

Mercyful Fate with King Diamond. Yeah it's European Heavy Metal BUT it's tasteful, melodic and it's very moody. I enjoy listening to it as background music while reading HP Lovecraft, Poe, or anything from the Horror genre.
