Cancer is complicated. If some of the people in your family have it then you might get it. If you get checked out regularly and they catch it before it gets bad then that's good. You can't really prevent it, but look out for lumps or unusual spots. Sometimes what you eat, drink, or take for meds can help prevent some types of cancer, there's really no guarantee, sorry.

My grandma had breast cancer in her right breast about two years ago. One day she noticed A BIG LUMP in her breast, and went to the doctor. She found out she had breast cancer. They caught it in time. She had her breast removed and she is now healthy.
You can not prevent cancer. It just comes. I'm sorry

don't wear a bra, exercise & eat right...still one in eight women gets it. Do self-exams regularly. Mammograms don't help as much as they system seems to think. lumps or thickening or burning in the breast is a sign. usually not pain or itching.

Lumps, dimpling, or nipple discharge. There is no prevention.
