u have asked this Q b4, sweetie. i wouldn't want to repeat myself, so i am just going to say: dancing doesn't have to be with friends or at a club or even to the sound of music. it is a means of expressing ur inner world PHYSICALLY. it relaxes ur muscles, alleviates boredom and stress and is good excersize. don't be afraid to boogie a little, no matter HOW awkward u think u feel. at first it might seem non-natural and overreacted, but soon ur body finds its own beat and the moves start to flow naturally and yes they CAN become even elegant!

i seriously suggest that every1 here who answered they don't dance for whatever reason, to try it out. do it when ur alone at first to get used to the feeling it gives ur body.

tip: videotape urself once or twice. this will allow u to actually she from the spectator's point of view anything u might be doing wrong and why. try to rectify ur technique and then tape urself again after some time. keep each old tape and then compare the first with the most recent. i guarantee u will see an AWESOME difference!

I have been able to dance since I can remember, no one really taught me how to dance, I taught myself. I watched some people's moves and if I liked it, I tried it and it came natural to me, so I would add a little bit of different moves in each part of a move I watched, and added my own flare to it.

All I do is let the music move me, thats all you have to do listen to the beat of the music and find your own way of dancing and if someone doesn't like and says you can't dance, say hey this is my type of dancing you have your own and this is my own, this is the way I am able to express myself, so if you have a problem with that then I am sorry but I am not going to stop.

When you get to a club it doesn't really matter if you know how to dance , a lot of the other people there don't know how to dance either . If they do know how to, then ask them to show you. You may look silly but its the fun of it .

tried, lol.

actually, my friend and i danced over at the fair last night, they roped off an area and there were a bunch of people dancing and break dancing to indie and techno-like genres... it was awesome.

you should try it, it really grows on you! there are so many diff styles to try.
