Does anyone know of a really good way to get rid of iPod scratches with everday household products?

I really don't want to have to go out and buy something, so any solutions?

Toothpaste can work. Not the gel kind, but the paste kind. A little H2O and a soft cloth should do the trick. This also works on CD's.

Scotch Tape. Make sure it's clear. Cover the whole thing. It gets rid of some scratchs and prevents new ones.

Someone told me to use car wax. I actualy dont really know if it works, but the person was really satisfied. I dont have any scratches on my nano yet.
