I too was at Monsters of rock 92 Slayer werte pretty damn good that day i must say as were Skid Row and Thunder and WASP and The Almighty.
But the best gig was METALLICA black album tour in the round and 3 hours with no support act.I was at the front for the start and i wasn't there halfway through the opening bars of Enter Sandman i can tell you that for sure,it was like a volcano erupting arms, legs, heads, hair, leather were flying all over the place........simply amazing

Greatest ever would be REM at Stirling Castle. I have been lucky to see them quite a few times but that was the 'atmosphere' night. We saw the hills in the distance and the sun lowering at the fortess walls as the band came on stage.

Worst gig ever? When I was so over worked in April that I thought the Morrissey gig was in May and I missed the gig. No kidding.

Considering I've seen over 200 bands live in my lifetime, it's really hard to say. Just off the top of my head I'd say: Oingo Boingo's farewell show in '96, any of the 8 times I've seen the Dance Hall Crashers play, or this one blues festival I went to where I saw Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley.

Most definitely Monsters Of Rock 1992 ......Slayer were there , and Iron Maiden headlined it .....1991 would have been better because AC/Dc headlined , but I missed that one
