I'm in my last year of college at the University of Wisconsin. I'm a Zoology and Biological Aspects of Conservation Major. I currently volunteer at a zoo. I'm wondering if anyone knows some good animal care internships, preferably paid internships, or if not, then internships that provide housing.

if youre interested in interning abroad, my best friend worked with Steve Irwin at the Melbourne Zoo in Australia for a semester through Auburn University. She tells me that they are always looking for new interns! Its a long way, but totally worth it~she got free housing and a stipend, too.

Yeah, I was going to suggest the same site. They have a TON of job listings, with internships as well. I can't remember where, but I know I saw some that had housing and a stipend. (Wisconsin eh? Madison? I was going to got here for Zoology but I couldn't afford out of state tuition :-( )
