If God created us in his image, why do we resemble monkeys?

Did he create monkeys first in his image and decide that they werent good enough? Or Perhaps God looks like a monkey, and we're a poor derivative?

Humans resemble monkies. They have the same characterstic features and share more than 90% of the same DNA. In fact I think it was something in the arena of 2% of DNA difference between a monkey and a human for all you morons who think otherwise.

they r both two different stories one is from wat da theorie of god says and the other one is from the theorie of wat scientists say,on gods side its telling u that god made us but not from some monkies,he first created a man and a women then thats how people started being born.if u take da scientist thorie they r saying we came from the monkeys because the monkeys have a lot in comon with us humans so for some reason they came up with that theorie but they still havent said dat we officialy came from da family of the monkeys,and they also say that because they have some proof that da first homosapiens actually excisted they r saying that we came from da monkey family.but no theorie is wrong u can say they r both right cause we dont know we werent there when da first humens were created

Billy UK's answer scares me because his version of evolution is not only weird but hard to follow. What he's talking about isn't relating to biological evolution, but perhaps the creation of the earth from the Big Bang. I guess?

I think this is a funny question and it'd be cool if god looked like a monkey. That'd throw alot of us off. I bet god is formless though, more of an energy force than an actual image. But who's to say?

I will resist the temptation to say spek for yourself. The Image of God Does not refer to physical appearance as God is not physical God is Father Son and Holy Spirit and he created man Body breathed in spirit and the two became a living soul.

if you believe in evolution that must also mean that u believe things supernaturally came into existence on there own, because that is not natural, so if u believe that, why not believe a supernatural God created all things?

If monkeys are so similar to humans, why are they so faaarrrr from being able to do the things we do.
