it will get the signal...but when i want to use it it wont let me get out of comcast.net...HELP!!!!

Sounds like the modem is not properly registered by mac address. Contact Comcast customer support and verify your account is active.

Call Comcast and have them troubleshoot the problem for you. They are usually there 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

The MAC address registered with the account is not in Comcast's database. You need to call them and have them switch the account MAC...this happens when you change NICs/Computers or Routers.

well it would help if u posted what happens if u try and goto a different website. i would advise calling them up for technical support.
