Just take a minute, sit on a chair, and ask yourself how many of those classes were just busy work or actually helped develop your mind. Probably a small percentage helped develop your critical thinking skills.
And of course having a Master's doesn't somehow make you magically smarter than you were before, but you sure can get more money with one. It's all nonsense if you ask me.

Master's, then possibly Ph.D. Hey, you got to put together a game plan. Actually, you should have one. Earning potential just went out of the roof. Connect the dots and achieve greatness. You'd be surprised at how perception works. Having a Master's degree sort of "magically" transforms you into a brain, someone to listen to. Use it for the greater good. Make a difference. Opportunity can only knock, you must exercise the power to open the door.

You try to find a job in your field, discover it doesn't suit you, and go back to school to do something entirely different! Happens to the best of us!
Ideally, you either find a job in your field or continue on to graduate school...

it depends on what you got your BA in. if you choose anything in the arts then you have to get your graduate degree to earn a decent salary. however if you have a pretty decent work history i would get my resume together and post it on a job site and see what happens.
