I think you may be misunderstanding the voting rights act. This act ensures that people pf color can vote without restrictions like illiteracy, property ownership, physical inabilities etc. Unfortunately, in this country, there are so many of those who would disenfranchise someone. It still happens. The last election is a prime example.

What are you talking about??
You say you want intelligent people but you have very little punctuation nor do you understand the use of your CAPS button.
What does voting have to do with African Americans? They can vote, and they have been able to since the 15th Amendment. Are you talking about people who are recent immigrants from Africa? Or all immigrants in general?
I can't answer until you give a properly worded question.
Good Luck.

Are you talking about the Voting Rights Act? The VRA is not about the right to vote per se. Your right to vote -- regardless of color or gender -- is guaranteed by the 14th amendment and the 19th amendment.
Instead, the VRA authorizes a monitoring program run by the DOJ to oversee voter registration election procedures in states that used to try to discourage (using poll taxes, literacy tests, some violence) people of color from voting.
Those jurisdictions must submit their registration and election practices to the DOJ for "pre-clearance" prior to an election.

what makes you think that african americans only have 25 more yrs to vote? It's rediculous to think that voting rights are going to be revoked for a certain racial profile. Not going to happen. I don't know where you got your information, but you are mistaken.
