It would be nice if you knew what kind of perfume she likes. Otherwise, you might end up giving her something she won't use. Flowers are always nice, too.

this is a question American males have battled with for decades. Perfume is generally a common gift. With a friend (not romantic) something she might be interested, music, books, etc. Also gift cards for shopping are becoming more popular although I don't like giving them because they seem less personal.

Perfume is a lovely gift to give to someone that you are close to. If you're not involved as anything but a friend than a nice scarf, a cute t-shirt, anything that you would give to your sister would be an appropriate gift.

Only if you know what scent she wears. Price is no indicator of preference when it comes to fragrance; she can dislike some very expensive perfumes that you might think smell great.

A spa gift certificate is a popular gift. Or, you can go with flowers and candy. More personal items can be ok if you know her well.

If you know any of her friends, you might ask them for suggestions.

Yes! I know it depends on the person, but I would recommend one of the celebrity perfumes out there... I LOVE them.

Curious, Fantasy, or In Control by Britney Spears- all good
Goddess by Kimora Lee Simmons
Glow, Miami Glow, or Love at First Glow by Jennifer Lopez- I have the last one and love it
Paris Hilton or Just Me by Paris Hilton- I know a lot of people don't like her, but her perfume is good and Just Me comes in a HUGE set with a purse, a watch, 2 bottles (one big, one mini), a big pink plastic carrier, and a makeup bag.

That's if she's not allergic to it or it's not too strong. Try something really soft and it'll be the perfect gift! If you don't want that, gift certificates to places she likes or to a spa. Jewelry is nice too. But it all depends on how much you wanna spend too. Some stuff is nice and cheap, others aren't. Happy hunting and good luck!

Perfume isn't very creative...........is it? Everyone buys perfume for gifts for birthdays or christmas........... how about treating the person to a makeover or a day out to a health spa?

Yes, it is. However, it could be taken that you like her since perfume is a very personal gift.

ummmm, no. Perfume is very personal for a woman. Try something more from the heart, something handmade, flowers, or a trinket. Remember women like to receive something from a guy that is original and heartfelt.
