Here are some REALLY good, and very inexpensive ways to treat most acne at home. Try each method (unless you’re allergic to the ingredients) until you find one that works best for you. Good luck =) BTW, I know some of these may sound bizarre but try them…what have you got to lose other than the acne!!

1. Put toothpaste on your acne before going to bed. (Make sure it is paste not gel). It should reduce the swelling of acne noticeably.

2. Dab egg whites on your acne and leave on for 20 minutes or overnight. It’s supposed to pull the infection out of the blemish.

3. Wash acne infected areas twice a day with warm salt water. This reduces oils in the skin and helps to dry the acne up without further agitation.

4. Use ice on acne before going to bed. This works best on pimples that have not yet formed a head. It reduces swelling and helps to prevent scarring.

5. Wash and dab acne with cotton balls that have been soaked in vinegar. Let dry; do not wash off immediately.

6. Place strawberries leaves over your acne and the alkalinity will help to reduce the swelling.

Hey, pimple & acne are the most serious skin problems in young adults. There is no quick-magical way to get rid of them right away. Instead, you'd really have to be a proactive person for this treatment in way advance before it gets worse. The more you avoid treatment the more it comes. Remember, "stich in time saves nine". So why don't you try "Proactive Solution" ? This is the best acne treatment I have ever seen and works lot faster than anyother hanky-panky products in the market. But this product is barely available in any retail stores. You'd have to order through online.Trust me, I too had severe acnes problem for many years which wouldn't go away at all. Tried everything but nothing worked. But one day I saw Proactive Solution ad on the TV and decided to give a last try. It worked like a magic! I saw great difference in my skin just after 3 days. Made me feel so fresh and good. My flawless skin started coming back right after 1 month.Twice daily is the quickest way and believe me, the longer you use Proactive the more beautiful skin you get.So, just stay calm and give a try and stay away from bothersome pimples.Good Luck!

I am 32. I had the same problem until I was about 30. The best advice I can give, is to stop wearing make-up or just wear the bare minimum-- ijust put on some eye make-up & blush. Lemon juice is great for killing bacteria and gives you the benefits of a mild chemical peel. Apple Cider Vinegar is very good for this too. It will burn your skin slightly, but it works miracles. I use the Vinegar once a week. Pure Lavender oil, Lemon oil, or Tea Tree oil are great to put on everyday to prevent breakouts. All of these treatments can make your skin sensitive to the sun so try to find a good sunscreen that won't clog your pores up. I like Oil of Olay - it has a 15 spf Cut out any dark soda's & excessive sugar consumption. I've found this to cause break outs sometimes. Hope something works. I lived with severe acne for about 17 yrs and this stuff finally worked

I don't really know any non-medication ways to get rid of blackheads, but to get rid of a pimple you can try putting a little bit of toothpaste on it for about an hour or so, some things in the toothpaste help dry it up and release the oil, but it cant be a whitening toothpaste. Also remember to wash your face at least once a day with soap and water, that works well for me.
