Some guy messaged me out of the blue and was asking me what I did for a living. I convinced him that I was a product tester for an adult toy company and that I specialized in the vibrating variety. He was so into me and I was about wetting myself laughing each time I came up with the next response.

I can't say that I've ever really lied on the internet. At least none stick out at the moment. Being as creepy and wierd as I already am, there is no need to lie!

I genearlly always tell the truth- except when joking or when exaggerating is necessary. But exaggeration is the telling of a half truth. I only lie when it's necessary, and it's not often necessary. I really haven't told many lies on line. One lie I told was when I otld a gal in messenger, that I love her and taht I beleived she was really intent on coming to me. I really didn't love her and I really didn't believe her. She was phising me. Before that, I told another gal who was phising me, that I'd help, and that I believed her. But the truth is, I didn't believe her and I knew I wasn't able to help her.

I pretended to be an atheist once even though I'm a conservative christian. Its was on a christian chat site and I said all the mean things I ever thought in the back of my mind about religion.

i rarely lie, but a few years back i chatted to this indian guy online when i was only about 14
my alias identity was 22 years old, law student in birmingham uni...unfortunately, i forgot other details and he kept asking me and i kept forgetting! i made so many mistakes and he caught me out - the saying is true "tell the truth because you dont have to remember what you said"
he busted me about 6 times and then i just felt too stupid to carry one so i blocked him and vowed not to lie again...it wasnt worth it because it didnt really save me from anything!
the most cringe worthy thing was the fact that i knew nothing about law, and he turned out to be a law student >.< that caused a fair few difficulties for me!

I have got to say I have only the slightest resemblance to my Answers avatar.
Generally I try not to lie simply cause I'm bad at it! But I once did lie to someone on the internet that I was in prison, cause I was trying to get rid of them so I came up with this little fib. They'd had me on for hours and we weren't getting anywhere. and had nothing in common but he seemed desperate for someone to talk to. I had my reasons!

Personally speaking, I have the habit of looking people in the eye as I tell them something. This is to show you I'm honest. Yes, I'm honest but not heartless. Why do I have to pretend to be someone else? Accept me for who I am.
