How about neither, try to pick something you child will like. The world won't end if someone else in the child's class has the same first name. And your kid may even thank you for it. I have a friend named Phoenix and she despises her name, same with my friend Portland. Stay away from city names, and Josefina is just atrocious. I hope my honesty does not offend you.

Do you have any other choices? Josefina sounds like Aquafina, the water product and Dallas ..... I know several Dallas's who are males, not female, but whatever. Will she love the name when she's 20, 30, 40 and beyond?

Dallas reminds me of country people...so no. Josefina reminds me of those big life-sized dolls, josefina was the native-american one...so no. How about, Sara?

Josefina, but I would spell it Josephina (my Grandfather was Joseph)
If you are meaning Josefina as the Scandinavian spelling it is pronounced Yosefina, just a bit of trivia for you :)

Personally, I think both names are cute for a girl. Both are not extremely common names either. If i had to choose one, I think I would go for Josefina. She might be made fun of being named after a city! good luck! :)
