People need to bond to one another in 3 major areas to be "truly" together in a marriage: Physically, Mentally, and Spiritually.
Physically: this part's easy, you think he's hot, he thinks you're hot, you have a physical bond.
Mentally: A little more involved, this is the part of the relationship that is driven by conversation and common goals in life, materially, professionally, etc. Cultural differences could come into play here, but only the two of you will know if your goals and beliefs will mesh well.
Spiritually: Some folks never realize what being spiritually meshed is really like. This could be anything from attending the same church, to sharing the same deep-inside dreams and self-knowledge. This usually takes years. Cultural differences could interfere with this process or make you more appreciative of your partner, but either way, I know you will need to be totally honest and revealing in order to determine your compatibility.
Therefore, different cultures do NOT automatically set a relationship up for failure. LACK OF COMMUNICATION is the biggest culprit of break-ups. Even couples who were raised in the same town can fail when they don't open themselves for honest, loving communication.
Talk it over. Then talk about it again. and again.
You will soon find the answer you need.

I believe in love. The only people that see race are the racists. Aren't we all human? You don't make any distinction between a gray and white cat and an orange cat do you? They're both cats.
By the way I have beautiful mixed children. America is a melting pot we show our love through our children, our heritage.

Absolutely... it doesn't matter what culture you come from. As long as you can work out the problems that can go with it... like, if you have a different religion... or you have family members who are racist in some way etc. As long as you are willing to deal with some of that stuff. Go for it!!! All that matters is that you love one another. :)

well to tell you the truth, I'm South American and it is six years I met someone on the internet, He came to see me, he's Asian/American and I'm latin born in Argentina South America. When I went to the States to meet him, his family was friendly and nice to me but I really know they do not approve of our relationship. Anyways, he is coming to live to my country and we are marrying soon.
