You have to be at least 18 to sign a lease in any state to make the contract legally binding. If you are younger than that, you can probably rent but your parents or legal guardians would have to sign the lease. If you are under 18, your parents and legal guardians do not have to let you live elsewhere. Until you are 18, they have the final say about where you can live.

you have to be at least 18 to sign a lease at any apartment complex. if you want to move out before then, a parent or relative or friend over 18 will need to co-sign for you until you turn 18.

I think most places it 18 years old.If your an occupant with someone that is 18 or older you can move in with that person.BUT you cant be on the lease till your 18.It's the law.

I think 16...but that is if your parents let you and the law too...you have to have a good job and go to school and have a good place to live...
