but, it was the way popularity swung as rock died out, sadly enough. It was the tide of change... As much as it sucks...
Good news, the indie movement is coming in. In a few years, I think Rock will be growing back: It's already starting to a degree. Give it time...

Well obviously its popular because people like it. Its fun to dance to, I like to sing to it, its happier than country and not a bunch of screaming like rock.

its only horrible cuz of wat some rappers say, the music isnt horrible, i rather call i HIP HOP, hip hop is as sweet as beethoven if u know wat RIGHT and POSITIVE hip hop to listen to, hip hop is music like rock is, hip hop evolved from rock and roll, blues and other kinds of music, so HIP HOP is only horrible if the rapper is rappin some of the stupidest crap ever spoken, like sex, drugs, gangsta life, and other crap, but hip hop is GOOD, u just gotta know where to listen to the RIGHT stuff
