American English is way better. British English gives things like the hood of a car girlie names like the bonnet.

I love British English, good movies usually are in British Accents because that's where Shakespeare starts.

Winston Churchill once described England and America as to nations divided by language
for correctly spoken English i would say England
for colloquial{slang ] they are both equally as bad for the one who said the English spell colour incorrectly i would like to point out that the English used that spelling before America was discovered that makes the American spelling incorrect

Are you talking about the accents or the slang? In either case I go for British.
(And I'm an American)

They are both very acceptable if the user makes an effort to spell correctly and try to adhere to the rules of grammar.
I learned to spell the british way but have no delusions that it's the only way to spell.
There are many many regional accents though in both countries.
