What makes us so sure we would win WW3?

Once again, my fellow American's arrogance is amazing me. I am hearing a lot of talk about ppl who are ready to line up against all Islamic nations.. Why? = to end it once and for all.

I won't go into why I think that is barbaric. My question is: why on earth do the ones who want to do this think we will win?
Listen guys, I hate to tell you this, but I am ex-military and I can tell you that while I love my old friends in there, we are lazy compared to other countries.

If WW3 starts, you are not just looking at the middle east opposing us. China and Russia both have come out against any aggression towards Iran. And you know if we attack Syria that Iran has vowed to get involved.

So, we are looking at a minimum of China, Russia, Iran, Syria, probably a few more .. I doubt NKorea will weigh in because they are isolationist.

On our side, what do we have? Britain, Israel, ??? I'm not so sure any of our old allies will come to help in this war? Not after the mess we have made.

That's true. The USA screwed up, actually our government did. We have nobody on our side thanks to stupid American's who voted not once, but twice for a terroist in the white house

I don't think Russia and China would come out against the United States if for some reason the United States decided to attack it. China has too much invested in the United States and Putin and Bush used to be make-out buddies before the Iraqi War. Because I don't think these two nations would be willing to fight I don't think it would be a WWIII. I think it would be a lot like Iraq is now.

There are three simple reasons why no one is interested in going to war with the US. And whether you personally like the reasons or not, they are true. It is not arrogance that moves Americans; it is technology. Consider, without your bias:
1. America has the only deep water navy in the world. What Arab nation even has a navy? We are able to move men and weaponry anywhere in a short time. No one else has anything near our capacity.
2. We have the largest and best air force in the world. Name one Arab nation that even has an organized, modern air force? With our aircraft carriers, our air force can strike anywhere in the world. Name another nation that can do this??
3. We have the most modern army; not the biggest, but the most modern in technology. And considering the air support our troops can have, who is our equal? North Korea? Hardly. Get serious; the US does not have a rival militarily.
4. If we REALLY want to get dirty, who has the nuclear arsenal we do? The old Soviet Union DID- yes, did, but the Soviet Union is a group of warring factions, interested in fighting anyone.
The United States is not interested in going to war without a cause. But neither is any other nation ignorant of our military superiority. You cannot be blind to this unless you choose to be.

Laziness doesn't mean anything when we've got nuclear weapons at our disposal. We've got nukes perpetually floating around the Meditteranean. And just because you and you fellow whatever-you-were were lazy doesn't mean that the US military as a whole is.

The countries that have expressed opposition would not necessarily declare war. It's just talk. Our allies would fight if they want to continue their economic relationship with us, so I wouldn't be too worried about countries ignoring their alliances with the US.

Learn history. Learn foreign relations. Being "ex-military" doesn't make you an expert.

OK but on what agenda you will fight the war with world Americans have to sell their military equipment to rich gulf nation that's why they are always interested to see some sought of war in middle east let this war of Israel and Hezbollah stop they know very well all the gulf rich country like Saudi Qatar uae and Bahrain will throw all the petro dollars to buy plans and military equipment is this what you Americans are looking for WWW3

First Russia knows we have Steath tech and they stand no chance against that kind of tech. Their own military leaders have said this on TV. China and Russia depend upon our economy for their econmic suvival, and have no defence against Steath tech either.

Both have large numbers of soldiers but very limited technical capabilties. It is to thier mutual disadvantage to launch an attack here in America. They're just to far away to support or win that fight.

We can blow away entire nations, without Nuclear weapons, we have MOABs. 22,000lb conventional smart bombs with nuke blast power but NO radiation.

WE have Tomahawks with fuel-air explosive war heads. The big Tomahawks can carry 10 war heads. They can burn entire cities with fuel-air explosive.

First the MOAB, when the shock wave clears, in comes the Tomahawk. The entire city is flattened and then burned with fuel-air explosive. The fuel-air explosive burns everything left and it burns off all the oxygen. There is no way to survive!

With our satellites we can target every Arab city in any terrorist nation, and then lock them all into a firing solution. Then at 3am any morning the order was given, every Arab city targeted could be blown clean off the face of the Earth, all at the same time.

With the Arab nation/s gone, neither China nor Russia, have anything left to fight for. With nothing to win they will not fight, they have nothing to win, and everything to lose.

We could bomb them to utter devistation and they lack the air force, logistics, and ability put or keep troops on the ground here. With the Arab nation/s gone their missiles, gain them nothing but retaliation, obliteration, they lose their economic support from us.

They're concerned about the investment in the Nuclear tech they've furnished the Arabs. Once that's gone they've got nothing to win, just more losses to contend with if they attack us. We would not need our troops in Arabia to obliterate any Arab nation. So their soldiers are of no use and they're not a serious threat.

Many Arab nations have come out against Hezbollah and Hamas. They have said Hezbollah is vis a vis against Isreal. Without the support of the other Arabs, neither China nor Russia have any support in the middleeast. It's bluster!

Well you say your ex military so first of all we would start by getting rid of all the poorly trained military members such as your self and deport you guys to those countries so that way you guys won't keep our morale down.
