The Jews were all over Europe and America. The country didn't exist. Palestine was under English Protection. When they left there was a fight between Palestine and Jewish.

Before Palestine was given to the Jews in 1948 by the British government of the day, Attlee I think, who controlled the area prior to the outbreak of WWII Israel didn't exist as a nation state and hadn't for over 1000 years.

There was no Israel.It's location and creation was greatly opposed by all the Arab nations,and especially by Great Britain who controlled the area at the time.
