I have lived here for 2 and a half years and I have loved every minute of it.

I'd say my favorite places are Nara, or Koriyama, the city where I live. There is no place like home.

I loved Japan when I was in the service. Okinawa and the southern part of Japan (Sasebo) were my favorites. Mount Fuji is a breathtaking sight.

Love Japan, miss it alot. Really loved Miyajima in early September, really peaceful and tranquil. But favorite favorite place was anywhere when the plum blossoms were fragrant in late winter/early spring, ditto the olive blossoms in fall.

I love Japan, and my favorite place is the Heian Jingu Shrine in Kyoto. The garden there is phenomenal, and if you are inadvertently asking for a recommendation, this place gets my highest recommendation.
