if i want to upgrade a mac g4 computer can i fit it with a pentium D processor?and better sound and graphics cards?..to make it come close to G5 in performance..!

Nope. Sorry. That's impossible because the socket design is totally different, and even if you could upgrade it, you wouldn't be able to use Mac OS X on it anymore. You should get a new Intel-Based iMac. Those a great!

Nope, the newer macs will support intel processors (core duo), but the G4 models only run on Power PC chips.

I'm not sure because I'm not familiar with Mac's, but I think you can get an expansion card for the Pentium processor to go into your Mac.
