I love her too, not sure I have a favourite book but I like Poirot more than Miss Marple, he is more entertaining. I never predict who the murderer is.

Yes, great character development. The snobby rich don't ever seem to think Miss Marple will solve the crime but she always does. Miss Marple is a great thinker, logical, with exquisite common sense. Try "Miss Marple The Complete Short Stories".

Yes I have read and liked her.
Agatha Christie wrote 'old school', classic English mysteries, along the lines of Sherlock Holmes; and besides movies, a lot of her stuff has been produced by the BBC in England and shown over here on PBS' MYSTERY! program.

I have read alot of her novels and enjoyed Witness for the Prosecution very much her romantic novel are also enjoyable written under her pseudonym Mary Westmacott.

She led an interesting life and I have also read about her and her journey to Cairo the which inspired her to write Death on the Nile.

They are all great but there is a reason. The way she formed her paragraphs and repeats descriptions has been proved to be addictive! Best I think would have to be 10 little indians (where they are stuck on an island )

I haven't yet read a complete novel by her, but last summer I read a collection of stories, the title story being called "The golden ball". All the stories I read were intriguing, and kept me guessing until the conclusion.
