Yes, Attaturk. Before that, the Muslims were victorious in many of the battles of the Crusades, but that was much longer than 500 years ago.

In 1683 the Ottoman Empire failed in their seige of Vienna. This was the turning of the tide which had seen the Muslims dominant in the military realm for many centuries. There was some see-sawing after this but the Muslims were now in retreat.
When Napoleon invaded Egypt (1805?), the Muslims could not dislodge him. It was only when the British arrived that a European force was able to deal with a European force. After this, before the advent of oil, Muslim nations acheived power by allying with European nations.

well, until the Ottoman empire collapsed at the end of the 19th century they were the worlds greatest superpower and their reign lasted for many centuries. Europeans from Russia to Ireland lived in fear of them for a long time and avoided conflict with them because they knew they couldn't beat them, especially since the Ottomans were united while Europe was fractured and uncooperative. until Britain and the USA moved into the middle east to fill the power vacuum left by the demise of the Ottomans the jews inhabiting the middle east lived quite peacefully with their Arab, Persian, and otherwise middle eastern neighbours. Much more peacefully than they lived with Europeans, that's for sure. I think the kinds of conflicts you are thinking of have only been going on since the end of WWII and that was 60 years ago not 500.

Uh...none other than the crusades. If you consider West Bank a victory, you are oh so sad. In fact, the JEwish/Christian (Kuffar, I beieve u filth call it) won all the battles (major and/or minor). (Iraq, and all the wars) Israel, beong so small, every battle is major especially against 1.2 BILLION arabs.
So to answer, NONE.
