While trying to stop the other morning i tried to brake and the pedal was right down to the floor. Brake fluid was low so i filled it didnt help any. As i backed my car into the driveway i noticed a line trail more to the drivers side. I know its not worth fixing but i need this car for a few more weeks. 1990 Grand Prix, worth fixing, big or small problem? Oh i havent driven it since was told not to.

if you can do it yourself, it shouldnt be too expensive. find the leak, cut that part of the line out, put connectors on both cut ends, finish and flare the cut ends, make up a new section of line to fill the cut gap with the same size and gage line finished and flared with connectors on it, and screw the connectors together...done. Do not use rubber hose, as the system is under pressure and rubber will not work affectively.

If you can't do it yourself, take it to a repair center, but it will cost more.

Well, if you don't at least keep fluid in the master cylinder, then one day you can end up with no brakes and possibly hurt or kill someone. You would be at fault because you were knowingly driving a car with faulty equipment. The problem may just be a matter of tightening up the line to the master cylinder. Have someone you trust take a look at it. It may end up being a matter of life or death. Best of luck to you...........

This should be an easy fix
Cost should be under 100.00 at a garage
The car is worth the repair
