people suffering from schizophrenia often talk in metaphors.
If for example, they witness somebody committing a violent crime,
they will describe the offender as shadowed or being in the shadow - meaning that it was a "bad person" = shadow people

I am a ghost hunter. Here is the definition of a Shadow person. A shadow person is a spirit that instead of glowing a light white, or gray color they appear dark like a shadow. They come in 3 types.

Type 1-They are small about the size no bigger than a baseball or softball. They look like dark "orbs".

Type2-The are a bit bigger but no larger than a medium sized dog. They some times have the shape like an animal, but are not necessarily animals.

Type 3- These are the rarest but most often seen (I know an oxymoron). They are large up to 6' in height and have the appearance of being human. The usual description is this: A man, wearing a hat and a long coat or duster.

Because they are "dark" doesn't mean they are evil. In fact all of the shadow people that have been seen either do not acknowledge a living persons presence or just don't care.

Shadow people are just what they sound. People that have no figure but you can see the outline of the individual in shadow form. All they really are a shadows that move and 'look' like people. They have no physical features that can distingish them. No face eyes or anything. Now if you want to know where they come from and how is it that they exist, then that would be a matter of debate.

I think I am a shadow person. Because of my physical stature, looks, and because I do not have strong emotions I am not respected as a leader.

I have to work in the shadows, giving others around me ideas, doing the hard work, and letting them take the credit. Its a role some have to play.

Look at the President, do you think he comes up with policy ideas, no he has shadow people who you don't know who do the thinking and analysis.

Shadow are the so-called Men In Black. Once, I read a story about a woman who was awaken in the middle night during a storm at the midnight by a knock at the door. In her house entered a man with pale skin, dressed in a black costume, he was balding and he looked about 60 years old. He was asking for permission to use a phone to call to the car company to report an blemished thing at his car. It was odd because the woman didn't see a foreign car around her house... When she went to the kitchen to bring some tea, the man disapeared, without calling the company. Similar meetings happened around the world, without any good or bad consequences. So, they are called shadow men because they vanish withhout leaving any sign of existence.

Well, I read a book and shadow children were 3rd childs, in a country where you could only have 2 kids, and if you had more, the younger ones were illegal, and could be killed, so they called themselves shadow children because they had to hide.

Shadow people are either the astral bodies of others, or another life-form altogether. This life form exists on the astral plane and travels here occasionally. Opinions differ as to who they are and what their purpose is, but they seem to be neither bent on our destruction, nor terribly helpful.
